Mizba Jabbar

Mizba was born and raised in London, England. There she completed a BSc in Psychological Sciences in England and pursued a career in Advocacy and disability rights.

Mizba came to New Zealand and settled in Tauranga in 2011 with her young family. She completed her Bachelor of Laws through the University of Waikato in 2019 and was admitted to the Bar in November 2020.

She has been involved as a volunteer caseworker for the Baywide Community Law and most recently worked as a Labour Inspector, monitoring and enforcing employer's compliance with minimum employment standards.

Outside of work, Mizba enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the beauty of New Zealand. She continues to be involved with local community initiatives.
