Experienced, energetic, and people-focused Practice Manager with a strong focus on fostering positive team culture and collaboration.
Mel first joined LOA Law (formerly Lyon O’Neale Arnold) in 2006, taking on the role of Practice Manager for both our Tauranga and Mount Maunganui offices. Having worked in law firms since she was 16 years old, she brought with her a wealth of experience, deep industry knowledge, and a natural aptitude for leadership and organisation.
After seven successful years with the firm, Mel stepped away to focus on raising her three beautiful children. A decade later, we’re delighted to welcome her back—bringing not only her exceptional expertise but also her familiar energy and warmth that make her such a valued part of our team.
Mel’s enthusiastic, kind-hearted, and ever-positive nature makes her a perfect fit for LOA Law’s collaborative and people-focused culture. Outside the office, she embraces life to the fullest—whether she's at the gym, catching up over coffee with friends, or enjoying the outdoors camping with her family.
